Getting Inspiration for this Travel Site

A couple travelers I am following as I continue to build out this site

Been working really hard creating a series of posts that I intend to schedule here pretty soon. One of those series is a collection of posts about each and every state with a few lists of “must sees”, scenic drives, and that sort of thing. AI has been an amazing tool for assistance in creating these, but I hope to add a bit of the human side to the posts as well. At least thats the plan.

In the mean time, I wanted to share a couple of sources or “real people” that have inspired me for one reason or another.

The first is SeeingSam. I stumbled upon her site when roaming around the Finger Lakes region of New York a couple of months ago and found her site when searching for locations to visit around there. She also inspired me to download the current WordPress theme I am using called Empress. She recently did a total redo of her site with a new theme though, and it looks even better! SO MUCH info on there and definitely worth a visit and bookmark. Again, an inspiration for me as I build this site out and figure out what to share as I embark on these journeys. Thanks Sam 🙂

The next one is Sarasota Tim on Youtube. I stumbled upon his channel as a recommended video popped up about taking Social Security at 62 or as soon as you can. Guess the ole’ algorithm knows a bit about me! I dove a bit into some of his other videos and related to them as I am also at a personal pivot point in my life. His latest videos have been from his recent departure from South Florida in his tow behind RV, a mode of transportation I am definitely exploring myself. Check out one of his latest videos here 🙂

And lastly, I have to give a big shout out to Nick and wife at a site called Goats on the Road. His course on building out a travel (or any) wordpress site is what got me interested in getting back to the platform. I have used some of his tips and recommendations over on my other travel site, TheRoamingCat (also, not live as of yet).

He has also been pretty active on youtube as well over here. Thanks for your inspiration in not only your site but your courses as well Nick! Hope to see you on the road someday 🙂

Check out one of his latest videos below. He has been CRANKING out some great videos lately!

Thats all for now. Ill see you on the next post!
