I call it 50at60.com A quest to see all 50 states during my 60th trip around the sun inspiring the name of the site I decided to start. The plan? To share my research, planning, and documentation of this kind of what can only be described as a bucket list of sorts.
As I have already been to most states (about 40 I think), some of these will be a revisit, but a visit none the less. And what exactly constitutes a “visit”? Well, to give it some sort of a bar to reach or metric, I have chosen a minimum of 36 hours spent in the state. I know, an easy achievement that I am sure I will surpass with most of these visits.
So again, as I mentioned, the site like I said is called 50at60.com. A quest to visit all 50 states during my 60th year here on Earth. To accomplish this, I plan on taking monthly outings in somewhat carefully planned routes, loops, and efficiently planned paths as to NOT haphazardly wander about, the the roamer I have been up until now during my travel trips. Seems like a good idea as my plan is not to empty my retirement savings!
Of course, I have relied on some AI tools to create most of these blog posts and images for these past few series here. The objective has been to create a nice collection of resources I can (as well as all of you) utilize as I navigate the small towns, scenic drives, and National Parks over the next year. There images here are simulations from 3 of my first states I will be exploring a bit starting in less than a week, Washington, Oregon, and Alaska!
I choose 30 of them and plan to release one a day over the next month as I begin the journey and start to document my experience. I’ll of course be sharing quite a bit over on the ole’ YouTube channel as well! The National Parks, we are so blessed to have them to enjoy!
